What did I say...

Basically, Lang Lang "repeated" every single word that I said this afternoon in his NPR interview. He's just an artist. He's just a kid. Literally. He didn't lie and there is no reason to question his sincerity. He did not have the intention or interest to offend anyone--here in the US or from China. He was happy to get invited to a big event, chose a piece of melody he thought is beautiful, executed it with perfection, and expected to make EVERYBODY pleased. He did everything with good intention. Maybe he should have known better of the background of that piece. But hey, this kind of thing just happens sometimes. Why couldn't people just enjoy the beautiful music? Why did people have to drag him into a political mudpit? How about let a good artist be a good artist.
