Anyone knows the story behind this picture? - follow cheerleader's post

1972年10月13日，一架载着乌拉圭橄榄球队的乌拉圭空军571号班机，由一架福克F27型双引擎客机执行任务。从乌拉圭蒙特维多飞往智利圣地牙哥参加比赛，在安地斯山脉因遇上乱流，偏离航线撞山，机身断为两截，12人当场死亡，而该球队内的大部分队员则生还，史称安地斯空难。

然而，由于失事位置太偏僻的关系，再加上该处天气达零下40度，十分寒冷，机上有些人因失救、寒冷或遇上雪崩而死去。生还者希望能活着等待救援队的到来，可是他们从电台得知救援队已停止进行搜索行动，生还者只好以死者尸体充饥。其中两名球员在辛难的情况下步行9天下山，最终成功向他人求救，直到意外发生第72天后（即：12月22日）他们才被智利空军救援队救出，45人最终只剩下16名生还者。

此事件后来被改编为电影“Survive!”（1976年）及“我们要活着回去”（Alive，1993年）。
