2005-2010 Honda Odyssey Defect Warning
If your 2005-2010 Odyssey power steering pump has been replaced before, you still need to pay attention. Unless it was replaced recently (late 2010) with the new, upgraded pump 56110-RGL-A03 (I was told by the service people that this is a very different pump, though the code # appears almost the same), your power steering pump (56110-RGL-A02) is still defective. Go back to the dealer and ask for the upgraded pump as soon as possible, even if you don't have steering problem right now. The older version pump is defective and will fail for sure. DON'T WAIT!
If you have done nothing to your 2005-10 Odyssey power steering, your pump is still defective. Visit the dealer and complain now, especially if your warranty is about to run out.
I have found out that some Odyssey owners had their pumps replaced more than 3 times over the years but are still experiencing problems.
