one's mistake. 猜个正着用guessed right on更合适，hit the nail on the head是一语中的。笨鸟先飞这么说不准确，the early bird catches the worm是教人勤奋起早，凡事早动手。笨鸟先飞可以说the slow sparrow should set out early

束之高阁更常用put something on the back burner。easy does it不是小心轻放，是心静如水才能成功的意思。小心轻放是handle with care!楼主哪儿抄来的？还是趁早打住吧，呵呵
