Let's say the phase out start from $160K for married filed jointed in 2010.
A couple's AGI would be around $140K if they don't convert any Traditional to Roth.
They have $30K in Traditional IRA that they want to convert to Roth.
Question: Would that $30K make their AGI to $170K, therefore, affecting their contribution to Roth IRA in the year of 2010?
有那位知道Traditional转Roth,会不会影响今年的Roth contribution?

Thank you so much. IRS publication rules! Shame on Vanguard.
