Indeed, a fair moderator is preferred, though it is not an on-spot debate.

I will look for the basic debate rules/suggestions, and post them later.

 

Regarding topic, my assumtion was:

Not everyone here is an English poet, but an English poet might be fluent in English.

So debating some basic topics in English serves a fair ground to both parties.

Just a thought.
