This sculpture is similar to it,and I did a small oil sketch in 3 hours, the gentlmen who owns it saw my quick oil painting after it (and little Grace did too), then the moneyed door started to open to me.

Exquisite gilt bronze sculpture of a beautiful nude lady symbolic of Diana running with her bow in hand. The sculpture shows wonderful understanding of the human anatomy and is very animated. She looks like she's running right off the base chasing her prey. This is a nice size sculpture with a height of 23-1/2 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of her bow. From her left hand to her right toe it measures 21 inches. The base has a height of 3-1/2 inches, a width of 8 inches, and a depth of 6 inches. The condition of this exquisite sculpture is mint. This is a superb bronze in mint condition, early Art Deco circa 1915. This may have been a Swedish artist who worked in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
