Some Sentences Used to Practice the short vowel [a] and [e].

In order to improve my pronunciation for short vowel [a] and [e], I scrambled up some sentences as follow a year ago and read them many times.

A bad mad rat sat at a tap.
A lad's fat cat yapped as a vac.
A gals's happy dad napped on a pad.
A zappy waxy kangaroo standed on a jack.
(There are  ba-, ca-, da-, fa-, ga-, ha-, ja-, ka-, la-, ma-, na-, pa-, ra-, sa-, ta-, va-, wa-, ya-, and za- in these sentences.)

Jeff was selling his best in Del.
The recipe the zesty teller kept in a cell.
His healthy yellow pet never left the Metro.
The gentle fellow's education was very well
(There are be-, ce-, de-, fe-, ge-, he-, je-, ke-, le-, me-, ne-, pe-, re-, se-, te-, ve-, we-, ye-, and ze- in these sentences)
