wind cracks, waves splash and wheels grind
almost all travelers have got on board
a listless bear lies there with a blank mind
as now the ship is being unanchored

for two days no birdcall has been heard
though the bird once promised the voyage
the rusting leaves yet carry no word
the drifting bottle contains no message

will the bear survive the heartbreak
if the dream voyage they will not make?
