Re: 网友ntotl的“矫正发音随笔:短I的发音问题,高手绕行”
/i/ sound as in sit, if, evening, it:
1. Face is relaxed.
2. The front part of the tongue raises towards the roof of the mouth. It also, while it raises, spreads wide there in the front (with the sides in contact with the teeth laterally).
3. The tip of the tongue remains down, touching behind the bottom front teeth.
4. Pull back the corner of your mouth a little bit.
5. When the sound is in the beginning of a word, the tip of the tongue is drawing back more, no touching of the bottom front teeth at all; the sound comes from your lower chest; it’s a quick, bursting sound.
