Following caught my attention, for your reference:

1. 意群联在一起读：
/call that a hat/ vs. /call/ /that a hat/;
2.
modern -> /c/ for the first syllable.
3. 连读：
'in it' -> linking it as 'i-ni-t'
'remind you' -> /dg/ can be used for the sound linking the two words.
