Sonnet  Remembrance of the Great

              - At the 60 Anniversary

Perusing history in a line he wrote,
To tally splendours the forefathers made.
The people are extolled to bear the boat
And to go the reverse as a force great
This country broken up shall not demise,
Like rivers in flow, mountains fast to stand.
Her people have been kindled by past prides,
Though foreign powers was trampling her land.
He'd gambled by the bold and unconstrained,
To ward off two hegemonies outside.
By turmoil-order stratagem to gain,
He'd turned the backwashes from the inside.
A human being comes and goes in this world.
The poem carved in hearts is immortal.

破旧山河唐汉梦，
纷争世界列强蹂。
外排两霸封锁破，
内挽逆流治乱谋。
南北东西来往客，
长安仰目在天楼。
