I didn't notice this as I was reading that word (that sound) that way all along, and you bet that the sound should be pronounced as in "cat".

I like this forum also as you can get encouragement and advices and progress quicker. A combination of self-hard-working at home and an exposure of your products here for criticism/advice/appreciation is a good mechanism of adult learning (exp. for language learning).
