任我为, my heart goes to you for your computer, hope you can recover it sooner, as what I experienced, i know the pain, but that's how the cookie crumbles. we have to face it.
As YuGong suggested, have two drives with all data on one drive only; besides, do a backup of the OS drive so as to recover quicker, that's what I do, it just takes less than one hour to recover it. Rocover software inludes Gohst, Cronos etc.
