People here are so friendly and encouraging!

Wow, you have super memory! Seashore used to be my favorite subject. And I always want to move to California. Those paintings are more realistic, and thus demand more detail and patience. Now I want to cut myself some slack – it’s just a hobby anyway. I start doing more impressionist paintings -- if I can call mine “impressionist”. It actually feels better to express oneself with color, tone and light.

Giving away paintings is not always pleasant. Some gift-recipients expected me to frame the paintings at my own expense, which made me feel deeply unappreciated. It’s like requesting a parent to wrap up his baby with a piece of silk before giving it for donation… I decided to shun from parties and keep all my brainchildren.

I believe that we are gifted in different ways. You and many other people here impress me with the patience and devotion to spoken English. I plan to catch up with you guys later:) I write better than I speak.
