Some people can only think in the way they were taught in the political classes years ago. Pity for these political fossils... Anyway, over decades, the party has successfully destroyed most of our traditional values by the teachings of hatred and class struggle. The nation cannot live in the spiritual vacuum for long. If you read the history of 南北朝, you might feel déjà vu in the sense of religious void, struggle and assimilation. Hopefully in half a century, a new Chinese culture will merge after reassessing and absorbing the humane values from Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and other religions (or cultures).

You write very well, but probably can break most of the long sentences. I know I have the same problem. Writing in simple sentences is hard when we talk about big ideas. However, that is actually a better way to communicate.
