Good to hear that you gonna try something new. I agree that it is not sufficient for your level.

From my point of view, NCE is still good for beginner for the length of the article and vocabulary. When I started it, it took me around two or three hours to make an article sound acceptable. Starting small and keeping it going are working for me. I do not think it is a good idea that a beginner starts with long articles or difficult one. It easily get frustrated and losing focus.

To the end, everyone should choose a way working for him/her but not limit to one method.
