Jet set

   Very wealthy people who travel around the world to attend parties or functions are the jet set.  It can refer to a social group of wealthy, fashionable people who travel frequently, a person who engages in this lifestyle ("jet-setter"), or a variety of specific names and products, including a virtual production software, a parking service, a nightclub, or a 1980s pop band. The most common meaning relates to wealthy individuals traveling the world for pleasure and social events.  

Wealthy and fashionable people who travel frequently to luxurious or exotic locations for entertainment. The term came into use in 1949 as air travel became more common and reflects a life of luxury and travel. 

To "jet-set" means to travel around the world, often in a luxurious or glamorous way.
