APAD: Better an open sinner than a false saint
"Better an open sinner than a false saint" means it is considered morally better to openly admit to and acknowledge one's flaws and wrongdoings, rather than pretending to be virtuous or morally superior while secretly engaging in sinful behavior; essentially, honesty about one's imperfections is preferable to hypocrisy and self-righteousness.

When I saw this quote yesterday, I couldn't help but smile: I know one who can be both an open sinner and a false saint. Yes, his name is Maowi the cat
No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, Maowi ain't an exception. Normally he is very good at doing his business - keep the outputs all inside his litter box and then calls out loudly as an open sinner. But occasionally an accident happens, and then he will be very quiet like a false saint and pretends to know nothing.
Even though, he is still an angel to me.
Happy Friday to you all.

Note: The photo was taken before Maowi 减肥 time, and he is much more fit and handsome now (sorry still in travel can't take current picture :-)
