【七律】岁末印象（二）

 

多情遭遇略相同，冷暖零丁一岁中。

人海茫茫寻一粟，前缘一一逐双鸿。

维城再访人安在，槐国重回梦已空。

每望婵娟情未了，两分千里一屏通。

 

注：

（1） 维城，指维洛那，罗密欧与朱丽叶居住的城市。

（2） 槐国，指大槐安国，南柯一梦故事里淳于棼梦中所去的国度。

 

Impression, End of Year (Poem 2)

 

Love seekers, be aware, love sucks,

I mean, sometimes. Figure it out

one way or the other. Without it,

though, you'll experience warmth

and coldness in loneliness that

might eat you alive in a year.

 

Why not go out to find that special

drop in the vast sea of people,

even if it might be a wild goose chase.

 

Romeo and Juliet did in Verona.

They succeeded in vain.

They failed in triumph.

All this might have happened in

someone's dream under a giant locust tree

whose hollow is as empty as the dream.

 

Every time I look at the moon,

I can see that love will linger,

and on that silver screen

separated lovers can see each other,

especially at the end of the year.
