cyclosporine is not good for wound healing? Why?

来源: TJKCB 于 2023-11-07 13:33:17 [博客] [旧帖] [给我悄悄话] 本文已被阅读:次

Tjkcb notes: I got a minor cut, searching for the"First Aids" Box, but did not find Cyclosporine A  as I used to use.  I asked and was told that Cyclosporine A keeps the moisture in the wound, prohibiting the wound cells from dying (apopotosis) and allowing fresh skin cells to grow (healing).

Aha!

Shocked! schocking to hear "cyclosporine is not good for wound healing"—rushing to check it out below.

What is your conclusion?

Infections. The most common factor that causes non-healing wounds is infection. If a wound becomes infected or contaminated, the body's immune system directs its efforts toward fighting bacteria rather than healing. Bacteria can also cause cell death as well as toxins that can delay or stop healing.Apr 15, 2015
