Every now and then did I get stuck with these simplest words in cases when the other person want to to confirm the spelling,  is that "b"? or "p"? I said to myself ---find this A for Apple chart.

Is that "N"?  I repeated slowly "N", I could say N for "Next" , it was the first "N" word jumped out.  But I am afraid to say that because I feel there must be some customs to follow of this A for Apple thing.
