You are not the perfect child.
I'm not the perfect mom.
Sometimes you misbehave.
Sometimes I make mistakes.
Sometimes you cry.
Sometimes I yell.
But my child, we are family
To whom we let go our guards
And let each other see the best of us
And the worst.
Sometimes I let out the wrong words.
Sometimes you lose control of your temper.
Sometimes I compare you with other kids.
Sometimes you wish for a better mom. 
But my child, here is our home
Where we come back at the end of the day.
And when darkness falls,
We sleep tight.
