寻隐者不遇     A fruitless search of an eremite

 

贾岛                Dao Jia

 

松下问童子，  A little servant was inquired under a giant pine,

言师采药去。  "My master went out to gather herbs",he answered.

只在此山中，  "He is on this mountain",

云深不知处。  "but I don’t know where he is due to heavy cloud."
