【笑闹美坛】Never a dull moment

There is never a dull moment with my other half. 

I was standing in front of a mirror, complaining as usual, 

“Honey, why do I look so fat in all pictures you took? I certainly don’t look THAT fat in the mirror!”

He slowly peeled his eyes away from television, wrinkled his face and piled up a fake smile, 

“Honey, next time when you go out, I will carry the mirror and ask everyone to look at you in the mirror...”

A flying shoe hits target.

 

One night we were watching “Antique Roadshow". It was exciting to hear some small family heirlooms were worth thousands after generations. How I wish we had some forgotten treasure in our household! Maybe I just did not know yet. Let me ask. 

“Honey, do we have any antique from our family ?”

“Oh yeah...definitely.” He responded.

Oh, my goodness, we got some treasures too... My heart started racing.

“How come you never told me before ! What is it? Where is it?”I was eager to see what we have.

He put on his warm smile, said

“We have...an Antique Wife...someone increased value due to significant age...”

A flying pillow hits target.

 

We were taking a walk during lunch break when his boss called. 

“Where is your location?” His boss asked.

“By the canal.” He answered honestly.

“Report to office immediately!” His boss commanded.

“But I am near water, not near a highway...” He stated the fact. 

“Then jump in the river and swim to office...”His boss certainly would not take no for answer.

“But the water is so cold...” He whined.

“Put on your wetsuit !” His boss was brilliant.

“But my Wetsuit is at Dry cleaner...” The call was ended abruptly.

A victory dance followed this phone call.
