Memories about " Good Friday"

I am a born Catholic and lack of knowledge on Bible:)

When I worked in France in 1999, I visited Italy in April,  I saw this great sculpture in Saint Peter Basilica, Vatingan City.

The Pieta, by Michelangelo. 

It was people mountain people sea at that time and I saw the picture of this work so many times already.

But I was  still shocked when standing in front of it, speechless.

It was the crown jewel of Renaissance.

 

I remembered another story related to "Good Friday"

Several years ago I was doing customer service  in Jewish  community, I told customer the job need few days and we will start tomorrow.

He said that"  The PASSOVER" starts tomorrow.

I thought that it was one of his family members "passed away" and almost said "sorry", thanks god I suddenly realized that it must be a Jewish festival!
