toward their oponents than that of true Nazi's.  I think that's why the German general would allow the hand over of Allied war casualties for humanitarian medical treatment.

 

Hitler disliked that.  His personal guards, the SS troopers were much crueler in treating enemies. (e.g. Malmedy Massacre)
