庭院与“Courtyard”

我认为庭院与“Courtyard”所指的东西非常相似。

One dictionary says:

court·yard

An open space surrounded by walls or buildings, adjoining or within a building such as a large house or housing complex.

Looked the Courtyard images at https://www.google.com/search?q=courtyard&biw=1280&bih=878&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=tAVaVaf2NIzdoASq54DQAg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&dpr=1  all of the courtyard shows the building around.

在庭院中， 庭与院分不开的。  这使得“帘幕无重数”是深深庭院的自然引申。
