[Voice of David Schwimmer] I think it was watching some Shakespeare's plays and then being able to try to speak the words and try to get the rhythms that I realized how powerful and how sharp great words can be, how funny they could be, and also how dangerous they could be. In Shakespeare, you can melt someone's heart with words or (you can,) they can be very violent as well and be used as a weapon. And I think that was the first time in performing Shakespeare that I really had a full appreciation of poetry.
