The Dao can be illustrated, but not ordinarily.
The name can be named, but it is not an ordinary name.
Not being able to be named is the beginning of heaven and earth,
Being able to be named mother of all things.
Thus from constant non-being we learn the marvelousness; and from constant being the phenomenon.
Both are of the same origin though different in name, and both are called the metaphysical.
The gate to all that is marvelous is the metaphysics of the metaphysical.
