I have been struggling with this translation.  But the challenging attracted me.  I like to know what you think about this poem if you  are also interested.

I have a feeling that James followed the same logic that expressed in a Chinese idiom "言如其人“.  I might be TOTALLY wrong but it is my understanding at this point.
