在这个 [Total eclipse of the heart] 的video前段对话中，女主角是:Lea, 男主角是: Jesse 演两位高中生的分手剧情。以下就是我尽量仔细听后的笔记,拿来和大家讨论，请高手们多来指教:

Rachel: Hi, are you still mad at me?

Jesse: Look, before I transfer here to make you my girl friend, I asked around about you and found out your (rep); what kind of girl you were.

Rachel: What did they say?

Jesse: Most of them had no idea who you were. The ones who did said that you were kind of sneaky (hot). However, that quality was canceled out by compulsive need to be right; and strange affinity for sweaters with animals on them. The most interesting part was I didn’t even know if anyone particularly liked you.

They also said you were a person could be trusted.

Rachel: I still am! ….

I have this pathological need to be popular. okay? I just want people to think I’m cool so bad, sometimes it clouds my judgment. As a fellow star in the making, I’m sure you can understand that.

Jesse: On that level, sure. But as the guy who gave up everything to be one and only, I just can’t see past this. I should have been enough for you, Rachel!

Rachel: (I knew) you would break my heart.

Jesse: That’s the funny thing about reputations. Everyone thinks (that) I’m a big heart breaker; but the fact of the matter is you broke mine first.

Do me a favor, if we end up next to each other on the bar at Ballet club this week, just do your Arabesques and Piqués in silence. Don’t talk to me!
