To jump or not to jump the gun

Seeing  the idiom  jump the gun posted by zhoumaduren makes me recall  the moments that  I jumped the gun:   break time, lunch time, exam time,   talked  back to my parents time and so on. And the moments that I didn't  and never want to jump the gun :  submitting  my projects-- I was a last  minute student--very careful about my homework, doing dishes, ...  ：D
