敲门/等/水牛

      敲门

昨夜读书到深宵，

刷牙准备去睡觉。

忽闻震天敲门声，

是谁鲁莽用了脚？

 

I read until it was late last night,

Then I brushed my teeth getting ready to sleep tight.

All of a sudden very loud on my door someone knocked

Who the hell was that kicking  and making me shock?

 

         等

眼皮打架真凶猛，

幸好一点不觉疼。

盯住屏幕不敢睡，

守锅待兔把你等。

Fiercely my eyelids had a physical encounter,

The lucky thing was no one got injured,

Staring at the computer screen, I dared not to sleep.

I waited for you to appear until the last minute.

 

           水牛

一双大眼水汪汪，

老实巴交不张狂。

任劳任怨多干活，

为谁幸苦为谁忙？

You have  two watery big eyes,

Not snobbish at all you are such an honest guy.

You work so hard and  don't mind getting more,

So I wonder who are you busy and working for?
