Summmertime is a 1955 drama film directed by David Lean. It featuers Katharine Hepburn as Jane Hudson, an elementary school secretary from America. Jane is on her summmer vacation in Venice, Italy where she meets Renato de Rossi (Rossano Brazzi), the owner of Piazza San Marco.
