请教一句话.

I’ve been interested in a job with a different department. I keep bugging its supervisor and program manager for over 6 months. At my last visit, the manager said with a nice smile on her face, “you are on the list.”  Does she mean, there is a long waiting list?

I would rather to interpret that she will call me for interview soon.
