2009年的一项研究发现，当受试者周围的环境为蓝色时，他们解决的脑筋急转弯问题数量会增加一倍，因为蓝色会让人更放松，能促进人的联想思维。而红色则会使人的思维更活跃、更清醒，因此是更适合解决分析性问题的环境。

 

A research in 2009 found when the subjects were surrounded by blue; the numbers of creative questions solved were doubled, because blue helps relax and facilitate with imagination; while, red makes thinking more active and alert which is more suitable for analyzing and problem solving.
