1)   Ice cream is not something that you can hang around and wait for. 冰激凌不是那种你能留得住，等得了的东西。

2)   He is very mellow, and we are the noisy type.他成熟稳重啊，我们是太吵了。

3)   I love Toronto. I’d like to go shopping some week in Toronto. 我喜欢多伦多。我想找一个星期在那儿购物。

4)   We can go on a girl’s weekend in Toronto我们可以在多伦多过一个全女生周末。

5)   That is very nifty (very good/cool)非常好！

6)   Speaking of show and tell, look at the car next to us, what is that?  Look up in the window, the back, it is a dog! 说到展示和讲述课，看看我们旁边那辆车，那是什么？往窗口上看啊，后面那个，那是一只狗！

7)   I have chapped lips, I need a chap stick我嘴唇干裂我需要一支润唇膏。

8)   It’s put up a few weeks ago那栋几周前建好的。
