Every year on the lunar New Year's eve, a couple of hundred million Chinese people gather in front of TV set watching the nation's most popular program - CCTV Spring Festival Entertainment Program, including songs, dances, acrobats, talk shows, short plays and so on. This year the New Year's eve is on January 22. Generally over three quaters of families with TV sets turn to this program at the time.
