紧急求助:申请一个award,英语写不太好. 里边是我写的:

Dear （不知道该写什么，是研究生办公室）：

I am sincerely applying for the Award for Excellent Study.  This award will benefit me greatly by lightening my burden on finance and assist me in devoting myself to studying.  If my application is granted, I will use this award to pay tuition for the coming term and pay rent and basic living expenses.

就会写这么多了，怎么能显得很真诚，我很需要这钱的样子啊？要求是写上用途。
