Catch 22 is one of the most difficult books I have ever read. 

I have read Fitzgerald's "The Great Gat*****y", and I really enjoyed it. I have not read any of Henry James's work.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just googled the Lucky Jim, and it sounds very interesting.
