黃河遠上白雲間﹐一片孤城千仞山。羌笛何須怨楊柳﹐春風不度玉門關。


Across the Pass

The Yellow River far up in white clouds Rises,

The single town lost among hills myriad feet high.

Tartar flute mustn't play plaintive tune of “Willow Snapping”,

Since the spring wind the Jade Gate Pass never crosses.
