Inflation is going up for sure, but wages are not going to the same direction. I think the ecomony will sputter with wages going down.
Explaination: Inflation is going up quickly, but wages are not going up. Cheap labors in China, India and other countries compete against US workers with lower wages. Outsourcing pressure blocks the income raising.

Prices for everything that you pay for with cash will go up, like gas, food, etc. Prices for things typically bought with credit will go down - cars houses, etc.
Explaination: Higher prices on gas, food bring higher rate, higher rate makes it more difficult to borrow money. Houses, cars will go down. GM's warning is a bad sign.

I think it will end in a sudden major crash when the prices for stocks, bonds, commodities, houses, all go down in a big way and in a short time period. After that, inflation and the currency debasment will be unprecedeted for years.
Explaination: US goverment debt is above its control. The only thing FED did was printing record amount of dollar. The cheaper dollar and lower rate help the goverment, but cause higher oil, commodities, houses. Once Asian countries get out of the game, there will a major financial crash coming.
