I did the wiring. You are right - there are a lot to do with the code. I got a good book - "The Complete Photo Guide to Home Improvement" by Black & Decker.

The wiring also include network and AV wiring in my basement.

I thought I did all according to the book, but the inspector (rough inspection) still pointed out some points that I missed, like I must put a GFIC in unfinished area, recessed light wiring in needs to be secured, and three-way switch position.

I added three breakers for the basement, one 15A for all lights, one 20A for outlets, and one 220V just in case i need it.
