Japanese beetles are causing a lot of damage to orchards and gardens.

Most bamboos are running, so they are invasive, but few are not. Those are safe to grow.

I see both tree sparrows and horse sparrows common in both China and the US, but what you stated is right. House sparrow is more common than tree sparrows in the US.
