A little more than a year ago, a local piano store (authorized
Yamaha dealer) was selling pianos at Costco. I asked them about the price of C3. He told me it's $22000, but only
at Costco. Yamaha set a minimum selling price for their
popular grand pianos about 2-3 years ago. I suspect
that price was probably the lowest they can sell. It's
true that the invoice prices of pianos at adjusted upward every year, but shouldn't be that much.
