At just a few months old Heather's hair stood six inches on end and her parents struggled to see past it when carrying her down the stairs

 

Nina says it takes Heather's hair an hour to dry naturally

 

'She was born with a full head of hair and at first I didn't think it was any different from any other baby's hair.

'It wasn't until we kept getting stopped that I realised her hair was extremely unique.

'It grew and stood around six inches high. It was difficult to see my way when I was carrying her, especially up and down the stairs!'
