回复:该不该回国
I just interviewed a person who was born here and was brough back to his home country when he was one. He eventually came back for his college education...but his englished is heavily accented, he has no understanding of the culture here...of course, he did not get the offer..
I feel bad for him....I am sure that he is an excellent young man, but for the white-collar high-paying job he is interviewing, his chance is close to zero...I am sure, if he grow up here, he would be a strong candidator for the job just like other native cadidates..and with his resume, most likely, he would have the job..
The point is: unless you are sure that China can catch up with U.S. within 20 years or you are sure that your children would want to stay in China, you are doing a big disfavor to them by bring them to China...
I know that I would want to give my child the best and highest starting place at the price of anything..
