The easiest will be adding a basement

Add a full or half basement. Won't cost much, maybe 20k~30k? But then your sqft will be much larger and you can have BIG rooms underground.
Also, if possible, I strongly suggest making it 3car garage, or at least 2.5 car one.
The layout seems small, but it will be fine after adding a huge basement.
