Even though you said he's nearly a perfect man, I don't think it's the case. To me you are too nice to him. He seems to be an abusive person or too aggressive. A good tempered man won't get mad for these little things. And no matter what you, you don't deserve this treatment. Don't blaming yourself--it's what abused women feel and that's how their hu*****ands want them to feel. You are a wonderful lady and you deserve respect and love. It's not your fault. It's his fault. Anybody in his family is like this? Read some books on boundaries. Set up some boundaries to protect yourself. It's hard on your and kid. God bless you two.
